Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Meow Map account and its data at any time, either directly in the app or by contacting us.

Delete from the app

1. Open Meow Map and go to the Profile tab.
2. Open Settings.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm. Deletion takes effect immediately.

Can’t access the app?

Email support@catapp.uk from the email address on your account with the subject “Account deletion request”, and we will delete your account for you. You can also email us to request deletion of specific content (for example an individual photo or comment) without deleting your whole account.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, posts, comments, meows, cat claims, notifications, push tokens, and exploration progress. Sightings you contributed to the shared community catalogue remain, but are anonymised and no longer linked to you. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
